The premiere of the performance took place on July 17, 1975 at the stage of the Lincoln Center performed by the artists of the American Ballet Theater troupe (Marianna Cherkassky, Hilda Morales, , Gelsi Kirkland and others [2] ).
The ballet was in the repertoire of the troupe until 2003, in 2007 it was again renewed by Amanda McKerrow ( Eng. Amanda McKerrow ) and John Gardner ( Eng. John Gardner ) [3] .

Tudor used the works of Antonin Dvorak, written by the composer for the chamber composition of the string orchestra:

- Four Songs “In the Popular Spirit”, op. 73 (1886)
- Quartet No. 8 in E Major, op. 80 (1876)

Story
The performance, staged in an impressionistic manner, refers to the “psychological” ballets of Anthony Tudor. The end of the summer. A woman who appeared in a clearing indulges in nostalgic memories of her past. Dancing young people convey her thoughts. Light fades, leaves fall, a woman leaves, enlightened by memories.

At the end of the 20th century, the performance as part of the Evening of American Choreography program, which also included the one-act ballets The Lilac Garden by Anthony Tudor and George Balanchine's Apollon Musaget , was part of the Mariinsky Theater repertoire. The premiere on January 28, 1992 , was prepared by the representative of the Anthony Tudor Foundation, Airi Hinnenen. The performance was attended by Larisa Lezhnina and Victor Baranov , Altynay Asylmuratova and Konstantin Zaklinsky , Anna Polikarpova and Andrei Yakovlev, Tatyana Terekhova and Evgeny Neff and other ballet troupe soloists, including Marina Chirkova and Ulyana Lopatkina . The premiere was conducted by Victor Fedotov .

In 2001 , the performance as part of the one-act ballets Memoirs program was included in the repertoire of the Royal Ballet [* 1] . The premiere was danced by , , Tamara Rojo , Martin Harwin and other soloists of the troupe.
