Geography
The village of Zagryazhskaya is located in the western part of the Orekhovo-Zuevsky district, about 16 km south of the city of Orekhovo-Zuevo . On the eastern outskirts of the village flows the river Nerskaya . Altitude 117 m [3] . The nearest settlements are the village of Belivo and the village of Mistsevo .
Title
The name comes from the noble family of Zagryazhsky [4] .
History
In 1926, the village was the center of the Zagryazhsky village council of the Zaponorsky volost of the Orekhovo-Zuevsky district of the Moscow province [5] .
Since 1929 - a settlement as part of the Kurovsky district of the Orekhovo-Zuevsky district of the Moscow region, since 1930, in connection with the abolition of the district, - as part of the Kurovsky district of the Moscow region. In 1959, after the Kurovsky District was abolished, the village was transferred to the Orekhovo-Zuevsky District.
Before the municipal reform of 2006, Zagryazhskaya was part of the Novinsky rural district of the Orekhovo-Zuevsky district [6] .
Population
In 1926, 458 people lived in the village (222 men, 236 women), there were 101 households, of which 93 were peasant [5] . According to the 2002 census , 55 people (23 men, 32 women) [7] .
