The commune is located approximately 380 km southeast of Paris , 85 km northeast of Lyon , 31 km east of Bourke-en-Bres [1] .
Most of the commune's territory is covered by forests.
Climate
The climate is semi-continental [2] with cold winters and warm summers. Rains happen infrequently, mainly in the summer.
