Biography
Born in 1882 in the village of Mazarali, Baku province. In 1937 he moved to Kazakhstan, where he began working as an ordinary collective farmer on the New Way collective farm in the Shuy district of the Dzhambul region . In 1939 he was appointed a field link manager.
In 1947, a field link under the management of Mamet-Sal Jafar collected 362 centners of sugar beet from each hectare from a 12-hectare site. For this valiant work, he was awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labor in 1948.
