Ecology of Voronezh - the state and characteristics of the ecosystem of the city of Voronezh .
Voronezh, as a large industrial center, is characterized by a high concentration of man-made objects in a limited area [1] , which have a negative impact on the components of the natural environment . From 2000 to 2003, the total mass of emissions from urban stationary sources was 28,699 thousand tons [1] , among which 6,794 thousand tons of solid and 21,905 tons of gaseous ones. A significant impact on the atmosphere has a car. Emissions from motor vehicles account for about 90 percent of the total air pollution [2] . In March 2007, specialists of the regional center for hydrometeorology and environmental monitoring noted an excess of the maximum permissible concentrations of sulfur and nitrogen dioxide in the air of the city of Voronezh [3] . According to the regional information fund of social and hygienic monitoring [4] , the indicator of total air pollution in 2007 was 6.76, and in 2008 it was equal to 3.72.
According to the results of social and hygienic monitoring, the total indicator of chemical pollution of the soil in 2008 in Voronezh was equal to 3.8 with an allowable value of up to 16 [4] . Lead , zinc , copper and cadmium were found in the soil.
According to the results of socio-hygienic monitoring in 2013, the atmospheric air in the sample sites did not meet the hygienic standards for nitrogen dioxide, suspended solids, phenol, formaldehyde, sulfur dioxide, carbon oxide, styrene, ozone 1.1–5 times [5] . According to the monitoring data from 2009 to 2013, the soil of the city is contaminated with bacteria of the group of Escherichia coli and enterococci. Helminth eggs were also found in it.
The waters of the Voronezh reservoir are also polluted. According to the results of studies conducted by the Office of Rospotrebnadzor of the Voronezh Region from 5 to 7 August 2008 [6] , the total number of coliforms in the water at the Dolphin Beach exceeded the standards by 4.8 times; by the beach SHI - 48 times. Lamblia cysts were found in the water of the Dolphin beach reservoir.
Another environmental problem in Voronezh is cleaning and disposal of garbage. On March 1, 2010, the Voronezh City Council approved a project for the construction of a new solid waste landfill with waste sorting complex [7] , submitted to the city administration. In July 2011, Rosprirodnadzor allowed the construction of such a test site near Voronezh in the Semiluksky District [8] . The landfill was opened in November 2011 [9] .
