DVD Flick is an open source DVD authoring software for Windows licensed under the GNU GPL . DVD Flick supports importing audio tracks, video files and subtitles, preparing the DVD file structure (or ISO image ) and writing it to a disk. [one]

DVD Flick’s official website states that it supports 53 media containers, 42 audio codecs and 72 video codecs, including Windows Media , RealMedia , QuickTime , AVI , Flash Video and various MPEG-compatible formats. [2] DVD Flick also supports importing subtitles in four formats: SubStation Alpha (.ssa / .ass), MicroDVD (.sub), SubRip (.srt), and SubView. [3] [4]
Although DVD Flick is not a video editor, it can read and interpret AviSynth scripts and create simple menus. DVD Flick uses FFmpeg to encode DVD video.
DVD Flick supports direct copying of DVD-compatible MPEG-2 video streams, but this feature does not apply to audio streams, that is, when creating a disc, the audio will be recoded in any case.
