Biography
Born in 1918 in the village of Keslerovo, Kuban region. He participated in the Great Patriotic War, after which he moved to the village of Merke of the Kazakh USSR, where he got a job in the Merken MTS. He graduated from tractor courses and was soon appointed foreman of the tractor brigade.
In 1947, a tractor team led by Dmitry Budeev gathered 400 centners of sugar beets from a 100-hectare site. For this valiant work, he was awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labor in 1948.
