Biography
Born in 1960 in Resita . From the age of 6 she started gymnastics and performed at a large number of international competitions. In 1976, at the Olympic Games in Montreal, she won two silver and one bronze medals. In 1978 she became the silver medalist of the World Cup.
At the end of a sports career, she married gymnast Sorin Chepoya , and the couple began to perform in a traveling circus. Subsequently, they moved to France, where they were engaged in coaching for eight years, and in 1993 they moved to the USA .
In 2001, Theodor Ungureanu was included in the International Gymnastics Hall of Fame .
