The Struts (from the English. - "struts, props") - British rock band . It was founded in 2009 in the city of Derby.

Creativity
In 2009, Luke Spiller and Adam Slack started writing songs together, then two more members joined them, thus the band The Struts appeared [2] . The collective professes a rather explosive mixture of various musical styles, popular in the 60-70s, reinforcing it with some trends of modern music. The frontman Luke Spiller gives a special zest to the group, having fancifully absorbed the behavior of Mick Jagger , Freddie Mercury and Michael Jackson [3] . The band’s first single, “I Just Know,” was released in 2012. The participation of Luke Spiller in the recording of Mike Oldfield's album Man On The Rocks, where he performed vocals in all songs [4] , attracted additional attention to the group, as the album climbed the top charts in European countries. In addition, members of the group acquired useful contacts, in particular, the well-known PR manager Caroline Monk [5] . In the early years of its activity, the group also actively recorded covers for popular songs, for example, on Get Lucky of the musical duo Daft Punk . Finally, in April 2014, Kiss This mini-album (EP) was released, and in July, the full-length album Everybody Wants [6] . On June 13, the group performed in Paris in front of an 80,000th audience opening the Rolling Stones concert. [7] .
