Design
The sight is mounted on the dovetail side mount, standard for Russian small arms. Installation on the following weapon models is allowed: AK assault rifles of all modifications, AKS-74UN assault rifles , Bizon-2 submachine guns, RPKN light machine guns , single PKN , PKMN machine guns and others.
The sight design uses an electron-optical converter of generation II + or III (optional), in addition, a rangefinder grid, alignment mechanisms, an automatic brightness control system and automatic light protection are provided. To prevent fogging of the optical surfaces during sudden changes in ambient temperature, the sight housing is sealed and filled with dry nitrogen .
