Biography
As a football player, he played in American student teams. Graduated from Stanford University .
For 15 years, he worked with various school and student groups as a trainer. Then Sampson entered the coaching staff of the US team for the home World Cup 1994 .
From 1995 to 1998, he headed the American team, which Sampson led to the 1998 World Cup . However, after an unsuccessful performance at the mundial, the coach was dismissed.
After working with the United States, Sampson led the Costa Rica national team and the MLS Los Angeles Galaxy .
At the end of 2014, after a long break, he returned to coaching, leading the student team of the California Polytechnic University [1] .
