Wear Method
In the presence of other state awards, the Medal of the Republic of Azerbaijan “For Courage” is attached to the left side of the chest after the medal “For Fatherland” .
Medal Description
The “For Courage” medal consists of a round plate 36 mm in diameter, cast from bronze . On the medal against the background of an eight-pointed star, a profile of a soldier in a helmet and with a gun mounted with a bayonet is depicted. To the left of the soldier’s image along the contour are the words “For courage”. The inscription and images are convex. The surface of the back is smooth, the medal number is knocked out in the middle. By means of a ring and a loop, the medal is connected to a thin rectangular plate of 27 mm x 43 mm, wrapped in silk ribbon of dark and light green tones. At the bottom of the plate there is a rectangular protrusion with a ring made in the style of a national ornament, and on the back there is a corresponding element for attaching to clothes. Attached to the medal is a bar 27 mm x 9 mm with the image of a crescent moon and a star, made of the same silk ribbon, which has an element for attaching to clothes.
