Biography
She was born on October 30, 1915 in a peasant family in the village of Krestyanovskaya, Kostroma province (today - Puchezhsky district, Ivanovo region ). Labor activity began at an early age. From the age of seven she worked as a nurse. Then she worked on various jobs. In 1930 she joined the agricultural artel, which was later transformed into the Svoboda collective farm. Initially he worked as an ordinary collective farmer. In 1937, she was appointed link flax link. From 1941 to 1947 she worked in animal husbandry. In 1947, again became the link flax link.
In 1949, the field unit under the leadership of Alexandra Petukhova gathered from each hectare 7.8 centners of flax fiber and 8.11 centners of flax seeds. For this valiant work she was awarded in 1950 the title of Hero of Socialist Labor. In 1950 she participated in the All-Union Exhibition VDNH.
She worked on the farm "Svoboda" until her retirement. She lived in the village Krestyanovskaya. She died on February 12, 2002 and was buried in the village cemetery.
