Moises Fermin Villarroel Ayala ( Spanish: Moisés Fermín Villarroel Ayala ; February 12, 1976 , Viña del Mar , Chile ) is a former Chilean footballer known for playing for Santiago Wanderers , Universidad de Chile and Chile . Member of the 1998 World Cup .

Club career

Villarroel began his career at the Santiago Wanderers Club. In 1995, he made his debut for the team in the second division of Chile. At the end of the first season, Moises helped Wanderers return to Chilean Primera . In 1998, he again flew out with the team, but remained in the club and helped Santiago return. In 2001, Villarroel became the first champion of Chile. The following season he made his debut in the Libertadores Cup . In the summer of that year, he moved to Kolo-Kolo . In the new team, Moises won the championship of Chile five times. In 2008, he returned to his native Santiago Wanderers.

International Career

On April 29, 1997, in a match against the Venezuelan national team, Moises made his debut for the Chilean national team . In the same year he took part in the America's Cup .

In 1998, Volyarroel fell into the application for the national team to participate in the World Cup in France . At the tournament, he took part in matches against the teams of Cameroon [1] , Austria [2] and Italy [3] .

In 1999, Moises played for the second time in the America's Cup . Two years later, he again took part in the trophy . In the tournament, Villarroel played in matches against the national teams of Ecuador [4] and Venezuela [5] .

In 2004, Moises in the fourth went to the America's Cup . This time on the field, he appeared only in a duel against the team of Brazil [6] .
