Wuna of Wessex ( born Wuna of Wessex, also Wunna or Wina ) (* 7th century Wessex , England ; † about 700 , England) - the wife of St. Richard of Wessex . Revered as the blessed [1] of the Roman Catholic Church . The name Vuna means "joyful." The real name of the saint is unknown, but she bears this name from the Middle Ages .

Biography
Vuna came from a noble English family and, according to legend, was married to St. Richard of Wessex . In the marriage, she gave birth to three children: St. Willibald , St. Wunibald and St. Walburg . Some sources indicate that she was a relative, or even a sister of St. Boniface [2] .
