Biography
Born February 18, 1927 in a peasant family on the farm Redkodub, Belgorod province (today - Alekseevsky district of the Belgorod region ). In 1943, she entered the Verny Put collective farm in the Alekseevsky district. Initially, she worked as an ordinary collective farmer, then a field link was appointed.
In 1949, a field link under the direction of Ekaterina Petrenko gathered 16.8 centners of coriander per hectare from a 5-hectare site. For this valiant work, she was awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labor in 1950.
In 1950-1954 she was elected a deputy of the Voronezh Regional Council of People's Deputies.
In 1962 she retired. Died March 30, 1981.
