Description

Length about 1 cm: males from 7.1 to 8.9 mm, females from 7.1 to 9.5 mm. The main color is orange. On the cephalothorax, only 4 eyes are developed, which are located in two widely spaced rows. Paws sub-segmented. Active at night when hunting for prey. During the day they hide under the stones, live in dry bushes in the bush. Active from March to November. The species Nopsides ceralbonus was first described in 1924 by the American zoologist Professor Ralph Chamberlain ( Ralph Vary Chamberlin , 1879-1967; USA ). The taxon Nopsides ceralbonus is included in the genus Nopsides Chamberlin, 1924. Among the synonyms of the species is the name Nopsides ceralbona Chamberlin, 1924. The species name N. ceralbonus is given by the name of Jacques Cousteau Island , formerly called Isla Cerralvo Island (Spanish) Isla Cerralvo [2] [1 ] ] . In 2011, the validity of the species was confirmed during a generic audit by Mexican zoologist Maria Luisa Jimenez ( Maria Luisa Jiménez , Centro de Investigaciones Biológicas del Noroeste, La Paz , Southern Baja California , Mexico ), American arachnologist Norman Platnik ( Norman I. Platnick ; 1951; American Museum of Natural History , Manhattan , New York , USA ) and Canadian arachnologist Nadine Dupérré . [3] .
