Club career
In adult football, he made his debut in 1968 with performances for the French club Bastia, the colors of which he defended throughout his career, which lasted fifteen years. Most of the time spent in the “Bastia” was the main player in the team.
In the 1977/78 season , Bastia helped reach the 1977/78 UEFA Cup final , where Papy played in the final two matches of the tournament.
He died on January 28, 1983 at the 34th year of life in the city of Porto-Vecchio .
National Team
In 1973 he made his debut for the French national team . Throughout his career in the national team, which lasted 6 years, he spent 3 matches in the form of the country's main team.
