Biography
Born in a Russian family. He received secondary education , studied at a mechanical college. From September 1921, in the state security organs, clerk of the Special Division of the Yaroslavl Provincial Cheka, since January 1922, an employee for the assignments of the Special Division of the Cheka of the 18th Infantry Division . Since July 1922 in reserve , he worked as an agent in the regional department of Gosstrakh in Yaroslavl . Since 1929, a cabinetmaker at the Krasny Mayak plant. Member of the CPSU (b) since 1932.
In April 1932, he was reassigned to work at the OGPU as a trainee , from May 1933 he was an authorized officer, from January 1934 an operative officer , from October 1938 he was an assistant chief and in January-October 1939 he was again head of the Special Department of the OGPU - GUGB NKVD of the 18th Infantry Division. Deputy Head of the Special Department of the NKVD of the 3rd Rifle Corps from October 1939 to June 1940, participated in the Soviet-Finnish War. Deputy Head of the Special Division of the GUGB NKVD of the 8th Army of the Baltic Special Military District from June 1940 to February 1941.
Deputy Head of the 3rd Division of the Baltic Special Military District, from June 1941 North-Western Front from February to July 1941. Deputy Head of the Special Department of the NKVD for the 48th Army from August 6 to October 13, 1941. Deputy Head of the Special Department of the NKVD for 5- Army from October 13, 1941 to February 3, 1942. The head of the Special Department of the NKVD is the Smersh OKR in the Black Sea Fleet from February 3, 1942 to April 4, 1945.
