Etslen is located 340 km east of Paris and 60 km east of Metz .
History
- First mentioned in 1446.
- The village is a former province of Lorraine.
- In the 18th century, as a result of natural disasters and wars (plague epidemics, the Thirty Years' War ), the region was severely damaged. In the vicinity of Ecklena in the period from 1575 to 1648 4 villages completely disappeared.
