Biography

Pablo was the goalkeeper of the Mexican clubs " Zacatepec ", " Cruz Asul ", " Puebla " and " Toros Nesa ". He played for Mexico at the 1986 World Cup , where Mexico reached the quarter finals, and at the 1991 CONCACAF Gold Cup [3] . He also played at the 1979 World Youth Championships .

At the 2006 World Cup in Germany, he was the goalkeeper coach of the Mexican team.

In early September 2008, the son of Mexico's former goalkeeper, Pablo Larios Garza, died at the age of 19 in an attempt to cross the border river Rio Grande near the cities of McAllen ( Texas , USA ) and Reynosa ( Tamaulipas , Mexico). He wanted to visit his girlfriend, who lived in the USA, but lost his visa and wanted to illegally cross the border [4] .
