Biography
Born in with. Congaz (Moldova). By nationality Gagauz. Member of the CPSU since 1917
In 1911-1913 instructor of the provincial land management commission. In 1914-1917 in the army.
Member of the Great October Revolution. One of the organizers of the Red Guard units, was the Provincial Commissar in Mogilev.
In 1919-1935 in the Soviet and administrative work. In 1921, he was authorized by the Board of the People's Commissariat of the RSFSR for seed production of potatoes in the Smolensk, Bryansk, Vitebsk and Gomel provinces, for which he received a mandate with his own signature of V. I. Lenin.
In 1935-1947 he was the director of the Research Institute of Potato Production of the People’s Commissariat (Ministry) of Agriculture of the USSR. Author and co-author of many scientific works on the cultivation of potatoes.
In 1943, as part of a group of biologists, which also included T. D. Lysenko , V. P. Mosolov , I. D. Kolesnik , A. K. Zubarev , F. S. Solodovnikov , A. F. Golikov I.E. Glushchenko was awarded the Stalin Prize of the first degree "For the scientific development and implementation in agriculture of the method of planting potatoes with the tips of food tubers."
Since 1947, retired.
He died in 1966 in Moscow, was buried in the Novodevichy cemetery .
