Origin
He led his family from the seventh son of Musa Mirza Sheydyak - the great-grandson of the famous Tatar temnik Edigey (Mangyt), the winner of the Lithuanians in 1399 in Vorskla .
Sheydyak entered the Russian service at the beginning of the XVI century and his own name may have been Tutai, since in 1556 - 1598 . Peter and his brother Athanasius are repeatedly mentioned in the annals as the Tutaevich Sheydyakovs. The basis of the Sheydyakov surname is the Persian-Turkic word "sheida" - "selfless" [1] .
