Club career

A pupil of the football school of the Salernitana club from Salerno ’s hometown. He made his debut in professional football in 1980 with performances for Juventus , in which he spent three seasons, taking part in 32 championship matches, winning 2 Italian titles and the Italian Cup .

Subsequently, from 1983 to 1989, he played in the Verona , Milan and Lazio teams. Speaking for Verona, he helped this team win its only victory in the Italian Championship in the 1984/85 season.

In 1989 he moved to the Padova club. He played for the club from Padua for the next six seasons of his playing career. As part of the Padova, he was the main player in the attacking team.

During 1996-1997 he defended the colors of the team of the American club Tampa Bay Mutini . He completed his professional gaming career at another club from the United States , New England Revolution , which he played for during 1997.

Coaching career

He began an independent coaching career in 2000, heading the Cremonese club coaching staff.
