Biography
Mikhail Ryabchevsky was born on January 3, 1912 in the village of Beleshino (now - Klimovichi district of the Mogilev region of Belarus ). In 1932 he graduated from a medical school. In 1933, Ryabchevsky was called up for service in the Workers 'and Peasants' Red Army . In 1938, he graduated from the Stalingrad Military Aviation Pilot School. He participated in the battles of the Soviet-Finnish war . Since the beginning of World War II - on its fronts [1] .
By October 1943, Major Mikhail Ryabchevsky was the navigator of the 807th assault air regiment of the 206th assault air division of the 8th Air Army of the Southern Front . By that time, he had made 104 sorties to attack accumulations of military equipment and manpower of the enemy, his important objects, inflicting heavy losses on him [1] .
By decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of November 1, 1943, for “exemplary performance of command missions on the front of the battle against the German invaders and the courage and heroism shown”, Major Mikhail Ryabchevsky was awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union with the Order of Lenin and the Golden Star medal " Under the number 1277 [1] .
After the war ended, Ryabchevsky continued to serve in the Soviet Army. In 1956, with the rank of colonel, he was transferred to the reserve. He lived in Mogilev . He died on March 31, 1979 [1] .
He was also awarded three orders of the Red Banner , orders of Suvorov 3rd degree and Alexander Nevsky , three orders of the Red Star , a number of medals [1] .
