Club career

Pupil of the football school of the club " Internationale ". He began his professional football career in 1977 in the main team of the same club, having spent two seasons there, taking part in only 5 championship matches.

However, he was able to attract the attention of the Verona coaching staff, which he joined in 1979. He played for the team from Verona for the next eight seasons of his playing career. Most of the time spent in Verona was the main player in the defense of the team. Verona helped in the 1984–85 season to get the Italian title.

In 1987, he signed a contract with Juventus [3] , which included spent the next three years of his career. As part of Juventus, he became the owner of the Italian Cup and the UEFA Cup .

He completed his professional playing career at the Bologna club, for which he played for 1990-1992.

International Career

In 1984 he made his debut in official matches as part of the Italian national team . As part of the team, he was a participant in the 1986 World Cup in Mexico.
