Football Biography

Player Career

Vladimir was born in a large mining family, where he was the youngest, eighth child. The family lived in the village of Rutchenkovo, Kirovsky district of the city of Stalin (now Donetsk). He was also carried away by football, taking part in yard battles with peers. Soon the Vympel children's team was organized, with which Vladimir took part in the first All-Union tournament for the prize of the Leather Ball club.

Since 1962, he began to study in the Donetsk Shakhtar training group, with coach Grigory Vasilyevich Bikezin . In 1968 he became a player in the backup team of the mining team. In the same year, Shakhtar reservists, for the first time in their history, became winners of the USSR championship among backup teams. After this success, a number of young football players began to be involved in training and games for the first team in the “A” class of the USSR championship [2] .

Drunk made his debut in the elite division on April 18, 1970, in a duel against Tbilisi Dynamo [3] . In total, in his first season he played 11 matches for the main squad. Nevertheless, it was difficult for the young defender to compete for a place in the starting lineup and the next season Vladimir spent in Shakhtar from Kadievka , where the player had more playing practice. And in 1972, Pyanykh was drafted into the army and sent to the Kiev military district, where he played for the army team of the second league, based in Chernigov . With his game in the army team, the defender attracted the attention of CSKA coaches, but was not announced for the Moscow club, and after a short stay in the capital of the USSR, he returned to Ukraine.

After demobilization, Vladimir returns to Shakhtar Donetsk, which was first coached by Yuri Zakharov , and then replaced by Vladimir Salkov in this post. Gradually, the place was at the core, the defender steadily entered the field in the starting lineup, playing in tandem with Valery Gorbunov or Viktor Zvyagintsev . In 1975 he became the silver medalist of the USSR Championship . The following year, Vladimir, together with the team made his debut in the European arena, where on September 15 he took part in the UEFA Cup match Shakhtar (Donetsk) - Dynamo (Berlin) [4] . In total, he played 11 games in Eurocup tournaments (2 matches in the Cup Cup and 9 in UEFA Cup tournaments ).

In 1978, Shakhtar became the bronze medalist of the USSR Championship , and in the next season the Donetsk team claimed the title at all, but lost the first place to Spartak Moscow at the finish of the season. Vladimir, who played in all championship matches, won silver medals for the second time. In the same year, the head of the Ukrainian SSR team, Valery Lobanovsky , invited the Drunk to this team, in which he became the bronze medalist of the Spartakiad of the Peoples of the USSR . Successful for Vladimir was the 1980 season. In the championship, the Donetsk team was not very successful, taking only sixth place, but was able to break into the final of the USSR Cup , where she met with Dynamo Tbilisi. In a tense match, the Pitmen brought a victory to the Pitmen, scored by Drunkers who joined the attack. Subsequently, the defender himself described this episode as follows:

There were ten minutes left. We all did not experience disappointment and loss of strength because we missed a goal. On the contrary, they went on the offensive. I wanted to prevent extra time. In the meantime, we have some territorial advantage. And when they beat the corner at the Dynamo goal (again Sokolovsky filed), I ran to the scene. And it was I who was lucky enough to take the ball from the corner and cut it into the corner of the goal. The happiest moment in my football life [5]

In the same year, 1980, the defender also distinguished himself with his debut goal in the major league of the USSR championship, on November 16 in a duel against CSKA , in 75 minutes he hit the goal of the goalkeeper of the Moscow army Novikov, equalizing the score in the match. But two minutes later, interrupting the attack, Vladimir cut the ball into his own goal, “giving” thus a victory to the visiting team [6] . For another two and a half seasons, Vladimir Pyanykh, who earned the respect of Donetsk fans for his dedication and intransigence on the football field, was a member of the Pitmen's club. Released in 1983, in Donetsk, the Shakhtar-82 directory, this characteristic is given to the Drunken style of play:

His tough, bold manner is liked by the fans of the team and very uncomfortable with the forwards of the rivals. Perhaps in Donetsk football there was not such a selfless, decisive player, who had firmly mastered the technique of hockey masters - a toss [7]

Vladimir ended his playing career in Gorlovka Shakhtar , where coach Yuri Vankevich invited him.

Football Referee Career

Leaving football, Pyanykh worked as a fastener at the Gorky Donetsk mine. Once, during the city’s football championship, Vladimir’s former partners at Donetsk Shakhtar, Viktor Zvyagintsev and Yevgeny Kanana, suggested he try to judge the match as a linesman. Drunk agreed. After some time, the referee played the game in the field. In the future, in his spare time from work, he began to serve the match for the championship of the city and the region. Soon, the chairman of the Donetsk regional college of judges, Boris Streletsky, recommended Vladimir to judge the matches of the second league. Having completed training at the national training camp for football referees, Pyanykh began to serve the games of second-team teams, first as an assistant and then as chief referee. Since 1988, he began to judge fights in the first league, as well as as a side referee for the game of the major league teams.

In October 1988, Vladimir, as a lineman, was supposed to serve the USSR Championship match, in which Moscow Dynamo took Yerevan “Ararat” . But the unexpected happened, appointed for this fight by the main referee Romualdas Yushka , suddenly fell ill. To bring the team to the field had a chance to his assistant - Vladimir Pyanykh, who made his debut as the main referee of the elite division. The following season, Pyanykh worked already at ten matches of the high-league teams, having entered the cage of referees serving the elite teams' fights. March 30, 1990, Drunken was assigned the qualification of a judge of the All-Union category, and a year later Vladimir received FIFA arbitrator status. In total, in the major league of the USSR championship, he spent 28 fights, as well as 5 matches by a judge on the line.

After the collapse of the USSR, Drunk as the chief arbiter, began to serve the games in the elite division of the Championship of Ukraine. In 1992, he was the chief referee of the match for the title of first champion of Ukraine , and on May 30, 1993, he judged the final of the Cup of Ukraine , in which Dynamo Kiev and Lviv Karpaty met.

He made his debut in official international matches on June 16, 1993, having worked as the main referee at the 1994 World Cup qualifying match between the national teams of Finland and Israel . He also judged 4 games in European cup tournaments, where the referee's debut took place on September 15, 1993, in the 1/32 UEFA Cup final match Kocaelispor (Turkey) - Sporting (Portugal). In 1995, due to the introduction of an age qualification, he was forced to end his international career as a football referee [1] , continuing to serve the matches of the Ukrainian championship, where he held matches as a judge in the field until the end of the 1997/98 season .

Since 1999, Vladimir Dmitrievich has been inspecting matches of the Ukrainian football championships. Since 2000 - heads the committee of referees of the Football Federation of Donetsk region.
