The application was launched in Kazakhstan on June 3, 2013. According to the developers, the application allows you to connect online- and offline-spaces, that is, make acquaintances with users who are in the visibility zone, in other words, in the same institution. According to another co-founder of the application, Olzhas Beisembaev, people who meet on the Internet meet and in most cases are disappointed. The SpringFruit app avoids this negative experience. A few days after the launch, the SpringFruit application ranked 1st in the appstore rating [6] in the Social Networks category, ahead of services such as Viber, My World, Vkontakte, Skype, Twitter, Facebook, Foursquare and Odnoklassniki. [7]
In August 2013, representatives of the SpringFruit mobile application and investment funds AGlobal and QHoldings announced an agreement [8] on the acquisition by the funds of a 55% stake in SpringFruit. [9]
In September 2013, SpringFruit ads were shown in theaters in Almaty [10] . In the spring of 2014, SpringFruit developers presented a new version of the application. In June 2014, application co-founders announced that SpringFruit is moving from a dating application to a geosocial mobile application. In the application, users will be able to chat with friends and acquaintances, see trending places in real time in their city. Thus, SpringFruit expands the potential audience. A mobile startup plans to enter the global market in the summer of 2014 [11] . Moreover, the creators of the SpringFruit application announced their intention to enter NASDAQ [12] .
