Mats Gren ( Swede; Mats Gren ; born December 20, 1963 in Falun , Sweden ) is a former Swedish footballer who is known for playing for Grasshopper and the Swedish national team . Participant in the 1990 World Cup . Coach of the Jonkoping Sedra club. Mats's youngest son, Michael, stands for the Grasshopper Reserve Team.

Content
Club career
Gren began his career at the club from his hometown of Falu , playing in the third division of Sweden. In 1984, he moved to Gothenburg , with whom in the first season the Allsenskan League .
In 1985, Mats moved to the Swiss Grasshopper . With the new club, he won the Swiss Super League five times and won the Swiss Cup four times. In the team, Gren spent 15 seasons and played about 500 matches, becoming one of the club's record holders. In 2000, he ended his career and became a coach.
International Career
On September 26, 1984, in a friendly match against the Italian national team, Gren made his debut for the Swedish national team . In 1990, Mats first performed at the World Championships in Italy . At the tournament, he played in a meeting against the Costa Rica national team [1] .
