Illarion Pavlovich Yankin ( 1910 - 1964 ) - Director of the Dzerzhinsky state farm of the Oktyabrsky district of the North Kazakhstan region. Hero of Socialist Labor (1957). Laureate of the Stalin Prize (1942).

Biography
He was born on June 7 ( June 20 ), 1910, in a village of Sukhorechka (now Klyavlinsky district , Samara region ) into a peasant family. In 1930 he entered the New Plowman agricultural artel of the Klyavlinsky district of the Kuibyshev region. In 1934-1946 he worked as a slaughterer at the Krasnogvardeiskaya mine in the city of Krasnouralsk, Sverdlovsk Region . He was later appointed head of the Krasnouralsky ore management department of the Sverdlovsk region. Member of the CPSU (b) since 1943 . Since 1946, he studied at the SvGI named after V.V. Vakhrushev , who graduated in 1947. From 1948 to 1954 he was the director of a mine in the city of Verkhnyaya Pyshma .
In 1955 he moved to the KSSR . In 1955-1957 he was the director of the F.E. Dzerzhinsky state farm (Oktyabrsky district, North Kazakhstan region ). Having accepted the lagging collective farm, he brought it to the foremost enterprises. In 1956, the collective farm named after F.E. Dzerzhinsky plowed over 20 thousand hectares of land. In the same year, the collective farm collected 18.6 centners from an area of 20893 hectares.
In 1958-1964 he worked at the enterprises of Vtortsvetmet ( Sverdlovsk region ).
He died on September 14, 1964 . He was buried in the Northern cemetery of Yekaterinburg.
Awards and prizes
- The Stalin Prize of the second degree (1942) - for the introduction of a new method of multi-face and multi-hole drilling, which gives a large increase in labor productivity and provides a significant increase in copper ore production.
- By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of January 11, 1957, he was awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labor with the awarding of the Order of Lenin and the Gold Medal “ Hammer and Sickle ” [1] for particularly outstanding successes achieved in the development of virgin and fallow lands and the high yield.
