Luciano Re Cecconi ( Italian: Luciano Re Cecconi ; December 1, 1948 , Nerviano , Italy - January 18, 1977 , Rome , Italy ) - Italian football player , defender. He was known by the nickname "blond angel" (Italian. L'Angelo Biondo) because of the rather rare hair color for Italians. Known for playing for the clubs "Foggia" and "Lazio." Champion of Italy.

Tragically died in the evening of January 18, 1977 in Rome due to an unsuccessful attempt to draw, Re Cecconi simulated a robbery of a jewelry store, but was shot dead by its owner [1] [2] .

Career
Club
Pupil of the football school of the club " Pro Patria ". He began his professional football career in 1967 in the main team of the same club, after spending two seasons and taking part in 36 championship matches. His game for this team attracted the attention of representatives of the coaching staff of Foggia , which he joined in 1969 . He played for the team from Foggia the next three seasons of his playing career.
In 1972 he moved to Lazio , for which he played 4 full seasons. Playing in “Lazio” went on the field in the main team. As part of Lazio, he won the Italian title. He played for the Roman club before his tragic death in January 1977.
International
In 1974 he made his debut in official matches as part of the national team of Italy . As part of the team, he was a participant in the 1974 World Cup in Germany , but did not enter the field in any match.
