History
The county was created in 1960 by combining the Dzdze and Dechen dzongs.
Administrative Division
The county is divided into 1 village and 5 volosts:
- Dechen Village (德庆 镇)
- Targay volost (塔杰 乡)
- Dzangdog Volost (章 多 乡)
