Biography

Born October 26, 1911 in the city of Rechitsa, now in the Gomel region of Belarus, in a working class family. Russian. Graduated from 6 classes. He was a worker at the Rechitsa bakery.

In the Red Army since 1930. In 1936 he graduated from the infantry school. Member of the Soviet-Finnish war of 1939-1940. The commander of the battalion of the 469th rifle regiment, senior lieutenant Nikolai Sinyutin, distinguished himself from February 8 to February 27, 1940, while holding tactically important heights on the Karelian Isthmus, where the battalion entrusted to him repelled several enemy counterattacks, causing him great damage in manpower.

By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR dated April 7, 1940 “for the exemplary performance of command missions on the front against the Finnish White Guard and courage and heroism shown at the same time”, the senior lieutenant Sinyutin Nikolai Petrovich was awarded the title Hero of the Soviet Union with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Golden Star medal " .

With the outbreak of World War II, the Hero of the Winter War at the front. The commander of the 469th Infantry Regiment Major Sinyutin N.P. went missing on November 5, 1941.

He was awarded the Order of Lenin , the Order of the Red Banner .
