Biography
Representative of the ancient Russian noble family of the Borozdins , known since the XIV century. The son of the boyar Boris Zakharyevich Borozdin, the nephew of the Monk Savva Vishersky .
Together with his brothers Vasily and Ivan, he left Moscow in 1476 from the Grand Duchy of Tver to Moscow and entered the service of Grand Duke Ivan III Vasilyevich .
In 1493 he was granted the boyar . In 1495 he commanded a regiment of the right hand on a campaign near Vyborg , and in 1501 he commanded a regiment of the left hand of the Tver militia, which helped the Pskovites “fight the German land” . In the same year he participated in a happy Russian campaign in the internal regions of Livonia , being in the front regiment .
Family
He had a son Vasily and a daughter, who became the wife of Prince Andrei Fedorovich Khovansky . From their marriage, a daughter was born Euphrosyne , the mother of Vladimir Andreevich Staritsky (cousin of Ivan the Terrible ) and the grandmother of Maria Vladimirovna , Queen of Livonia.
