Biography
Born in 1924 in the village of Georgievno Kyrgyz Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic. In 1938, at the age of 13, she joined the Victory collective farm. Since 1944 she worked on the labor front. From 1944 she worked as a foreman on the collective farm “Victory”. Since 1957 she worked in the Chimkent city office "Zelenstroy".
In 1948, the link of Vera Vashchenko-Ekaterinchev collected 29.2 centners of wheat each from a plot of 37 hectares. For this valiant work she was awarded in 1949 the title of Hero of Socialist Labor.
