The village is located by the Zero River. [2] [3]
History
According to the Lists of populated areas of the Russian Empire in 1872, the village belonged to the 2nd camp of the Soligalichsky district of the Kostroma province . There were 4 yards in it , 4 men and 8 women lived. [2]
According to the 1897 census , 26 people lived in the village (10 men and 16 women). [3]
According to the List of populated areas of the Kostroma province in 1907, the village belonged to the Nolsk-Berezovskaya volost of the Soligalichsky district of the Kostroma province . According to the volost government, in 1907 there were 7 peasant households and 36 inhabitants. [3]
Before the municipal reform of 2010, the village was also part of the Berezovsky rural settlement. [4] [5] As of January 1, 2014, there were 1 farm and 2 inhabitants in the village. [one]
