Waves (novel)

The Waves - first published in 1931 , an experimental novel by Virginia Woolf . It consists of soloquies spoken by six characters in the book: Bernard, Susan, Roda, Neville, Ginny and Louis. The soliloquia are interspersed with nine short third-person interludes describing the coastal scene at different daytime stages, from dawn to dusk.

In this novel, Wolfe focuses on individual consciousness and the paths through which several human consciousnesses can intertwine with each other.
