Biography
Born in 1887 in the village of Chubar (today - Eskeldinsky district of Almaty region ). From early childhood, he was engaged in farm labor. In 1930, he joined the Dzhanalyk collective farm. In 1932 he was appointed a link of beet-growing link. He participated in the Great Patriotic War from 1943 to 1945. After demobilization, he returned to the Dzhanalyk collective farm, where he worked as a link manager until 1964.
He died in 1966.
Labor Feat
In 1947, the beet-growing unit, led by Akyk, gathered 300 centners of sugar beets from an area of 2 hectares and 518 hectares from an area of 6 hectares. For this valiant work, he was awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labor in 1971.
