The history of the noble family of this family begins at the end of the 16th century . The provincial nobility deputy assembly brought the old Abashevs to the VI part of the noble genealogy of the books of the Pskov and Smolensk provinces [1] .
The coat of arms of the genus Abashevs, the Highest approved, is placed in the VIII part of the General Herbovnik of the Russian Empire (page 42) [2] .
