The Abashevs are an ancient Russian noble family .

On the shield, which has a silver field, there is a blue shield in the middle, in which two silver pistols and a saber point down with a cross are depicted crosswise. The shield is crowned with a noble helmet and a noble crown. The bastard on the shield is silver, enclosed in blue.

The history of the noble family of this family begins at the end of the 16th century . The provincial nobility deputy assembly brought the old Abashevs to the VI part of the noble genealogy of the books of the Pskov and Smolensk provinces [1] .

The coat of arms of the genus Abashevs, the Highest approved, is placed in the VIII part of the General Herbovnik of the Russian Empire (page 42) [2] .
