Biography
Born in 1907 in the village of Zhalpaktal, Ural Region, Russian Empire. Since 1944, she worked as a shepherd at the Furmanovsky sheep farm. In 1946 she was appointed senior collective farm shepherd. In 1964 she retired.
During her work as a senior shepherd on a collective farm, Kaisha Mykanova annually from 1944 to 1963 raised 110-120 lambs from each hundred ewes. In 1958, the title of Hero of Socialist Labor “for the outstanding successes achieved in the development of sheep husbandry, increased production and surrender to the state of meat, wool and karakul skins in 1957, and the widespread use of the achievements of science and best practices in the practice of their work” [1] .
In 1962, she was elected deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of the 6th convocation.
She died in 1980 in the village of Zhalpaktal.

Memory
- A street in Uralsk is named after Kaysha Mikhanova;
- In Zhalpaktal, a monument dedicated to Kaisi Myktanova was erected [2] .
