History

On the map of the St. Petersburg province of F.F. Schubert in 1834, the village of Goltov is mentioned, consisting of 30 peasant households [2] .

GOLTOVO - the village belongs to Count Paskevich-Erivansky, the number of inhabitants according to audit: 98 m. P., 98; p. [3] (1838)

On the map of Professor S. S. Kutorgi of 1852, the village of Goltov is noted from 30 yards [4] .

GOLTOVO - the village of Princess Volkonskaya, along a country road, the number of yards is 22, the number of souls is 68 m. P. [5] (1856)


GOLTOVA is a village owned by wells, the number of households is 22, the number of inhabitants is 67 m., 19; P.; Orthodox chapel [6] . (1862)

In the XIX century, the village administratively belonged to the Pesotsky volost of the 1st camp of Novoladozhsky district of St. Petersburg province, in the beginning of the XX century - the 4th camp.

According to the “Memorial Book of the St. Petersburg Province” for 1905, the village of Goltovo was part of the Nurminsk rural society [7] .

According to the military topographic map of the Petrograd and Novgorod gubernias of the 1915 edition, the village was called Goltov , it contained 4 windmills [8] .

From 1917 to 1923, the village of Goltovo was part of the Palskiy village council of the Pesotsky volost of Novoladozhsky district.

Since 1923, as a part of the Goltovsky Village Council of the Shumsky volost of the Volkhovsky district .

Since 1924, as part of the Chaplinsky Village Council.

Since 1926, again in the Goltovsky Village Council.

Since 1927, as part of the Volkhov District.

Since 1928, again in the Chaplinsky Village Council. In 1928, the population of the village of Goltovo was 221 people [9] .

According to the data of 1933, the village of Goltovo was part of the Chaplinsky Village Council of the Volkhov District [10] .

In 1958, the population of the village of Goltovo was 81 [9] .

According to the data of 1966, 1973 and 1990, the village of Goltovo was part of the Chaplinsky Village Council [11] [12] [13] .

In 1997, 7 people lived in the village of Goltovo, Kiselninsk volost, in 2002 - 25 people (all Russians) [14] [15] .

In 2007, in the village of Goltovo Kiselninsky SP - 5 people [16] .

Geography

The village is located in the western part of the district on the 41K-387 road ( Chaplino - Goltovo), south of the P21 ( E 105 ) “Kola” road.

The distance to the administrative center of the settlement is 14 km [16] .

The distance to the nearest railway station Voybokalo is 24 km [11] .
