The second military priest in the history of the Orthodox clergy, awarded the Order of St. George [2] .
The priest Vasilkovsky, Vasily, was the first to be awarded this order.

Biography
Date of birth is unknown.
During the storming of the city of Rakhov during the war with Turkey , in 1829 , Father Job, crossing the Danube River to the enemy bank, blessed the soldiers, in full vestments, crossed with them in a boat. With them, he participated in taking an enemy battery, and was seriously wounded by a bullet in the head, with damage to the jaws and tongue.
Emperor Nicholas I granted him the Order of St. George of the 4th degree, a life-long guesthouse each year at five hundred rubles and ordered the Holy Synod to appoint him to the Peterhof Palace Church .
Date and place of death is unknown.
