Alexey Alexandrovich Tyagachev (born May 23, 1965, Dmitrov ) is a Russian soldier, Hero of the Russian Federation , Colonel of the RF Armed Forces. Member of the hostilities in the Chechen Republic in 1994-1995.

Biography
Born May 23, 1965 in the city of Dmitrov, Moscow Region . Russian. He graduated from high school.
In the Armed Forces since 1983. In 1989 he graduated from the Ryazan Higher Airborne Command School . He served in the Airborne Forces in the 217th Parachute Regiment of the 98th Guards Svir Red Banner Order of Kutuzov, 2nd Degree, Airborne Division : platoon commander, deputy company commander, company commander. In 1989-1990, he took part in the regiment as a direct participant in the fulfillment of special tasks on the territory of the republics of Transcaucasia, to resolve ethnic conflicts.
Captain Tyagachev Alexey Alexandrovich December 13, 1994 with his company was in Chechnya. During the assault on the building of the Council of Ministers, he led one of the assault groups. The group destroyed 1 tank, 2 armored personnel carriers and 4 fortified enemy firing points. Having paved their way with grenades, Tyagachev's group promptly advanced to a given line. During the day, the paratroopers had to fight back the fierce attacks of the militants, but they did not surrender a meter of the bridgehead. Alexey got a shell shock, and then a bullet wound, but did not allow himself to be evacuated until a shift arrived. After he received first aid, he remained in service. In the following days, Tyagachev’s group seized two buildings and held them for two days. In these battles, Alexei personally destroyed two tanks.
By decree of the President of the Russian Federation of July 21, 1995, for the courage and heroism shown during the performance of a special task, Captain Tyagachev Alexei Alexandrovich was awarded the title Hero of the Russian Federation .
Guard Colonel A. Tyagachev continued military service. Since 1995 - deputy commander of the paratrooper battalion in the 217th Guards Parachute Regiment.
Major received the military rank in 1997. In 1996 he entered, and in 1999 he graduated from the Military Diplomatic Academy. Serves in the General Directorate of the General Staff.
