Zagustaysky coal mine is suitable for the ulus from the north-west side. On the Ubukunsky Uval (Obootey Gube district), two kilometers north-east of Bulak, near the Kyakhta tract, there is the Zagustaysky datsan “Dachen Rabzhaling”, which was revived in 2012, founded in the XVIII century.
History
The population of the ulus has declined significantly over the past two decades. In Soviet times, there was a branch of the collective farm named after Lenin of the village of Tohoy. A large dairy farm and stone houses for collective farmers were built. Currently, most of the houses are in dilapidated condition. Dairy and sheep farms function.
