Great Kogey or Kogey [4] ( Ukrainian. Great Kogei , Crimean Tat. Büyük Kögey, Buyuk Kogei ) is one of the five fresh lakes of the Crimean peninsula, also one of the four peninsula lakes of the peninsula [1] . Located between the rivers Burulcha and Biyuk-Karasu [5] . With a maximum spring mirror area of about 0.11 km² and a depth of about 0.7 m with a catchment area of 0.87 km² [2] , the maximum length of the lake is 1.4 km, width - 50 m [1] . The lake has a karst origin and is drainless . Most of the water evaporates, the rest seeps into the karst . The local population characterizes Kogey not as a lake in the traditional sense, but as a drying up Crimean mole .
