Biography
Orthodox.
In 1873 he graduated from the 2nd Konstantinovsky military school , from where he was released as second lieutenant with enrollment in the army infantry and seconded to the Finnish regiment . The following year he was transferred to the regiment with the rank of ensign of the guard.
Ranks: lieutenant (1877), lieutenant (1878), staff captain (1883), captain (1884), lieutenant colonel (1886), colonel (1890), major general (for distinction, 1900), lieutenant general (for distinction , 1907), general of infantry (1915).
He participated in the Russian-Turkish war of 1877-1878 , was awarded the orders of St. Anne of the 4th degree and St. Stanislav of the 3rd degree with swords and a bow. From January 1, 1879, Ahiolo was the Mesemvrian district commander; from April 22 to May 31, 1879, the Ahiolo-Mesemvri commandant.
In 1883 he graduated from the Alexander Military Law Academy in the 1st category. March 25, 1884 he was appointed military investigator of the Caucasian Military District Court . On April 21, 1890 he was appointed assistant military prosecutor of the same court, and on May 23, 1892 he was returned to the post of military investigator. On December 1, 1895 he was appointed a military judge of the same court, which position he held until October 19, 1904.
During the Russo-Japanese War, he was in charge of the military-judicial unit under the commander of the 2nd Manchurian Army.
On November 11, 1905 he was appointed military prosecutor of the Odessa Military District Court . On August 14, 1906 he was appointed chairman of the Irkutsk Military District Court , on February 13, 1907 he was transferred to the same position in the Caucasian Military District Court, and on October 24, 1908, in the same position in Kiev . On August 4, 1911 he was appointed a permanent member of the Main Military Court . December 6, 1915 promoted to general-from-infantry .
March 31, 1917, after the February Revolution , was dismissed from service by request. March 11, 1919 he was shot by the Bolsheviks in Kiev during the Red Terror .
