Story

Catherine and Matthew Parkers are trying to adapt to a new life in the town of Natgari, they lead a secluded lifestyle. Before a major sandstorm, their two teenage children, Lily and Tom, disappear. The search operation is led by policeman David Ray. Growing suspicions and rumors are turning locals against Parkers, turning their lives into hell.

Filming

On October 20, 2013, Nicole Kidman , Guy Pearce and Hugo Weaving got roles in the film, financed by Screen Australia. Makdara Keller and Naomi Wank produced the film, directed by Kim Farrant, and the script was written by Fiona Serres and Michael Keenrons [2] . Other roles in the film were given to Lisa Flanagan, Main Wyatt and Nicholas Hamilton [4] . On March 13, 2014, Joseph Fiennes replaced Guy Pearce, who had dropped out of the project, [3] . On March 27, 2014, Maddison Brown received a role in the film [5] . March 27, it became known that filming will begin in Sydney in the last week of March [6] . Filming also took place in Kanovindra County and the city of Broken Hill [4] , and continued until March 31, 2014 [7] [8] [9] .
