Biography

Born on March 8, 1958 in the village of Ilek in the Orenburg Region in the family of a military man. Russian. Soon the family moved to the city of Orenburg. He graduated from high school.

In the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the USSR since 1975. In 1979 he graduated from the Saratov Higher Military Command School of the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. He served in Moscow in the Separate Motorized Rifle Division for Special Purpose of the Internal Troops named after F.E. Dzerzhinsky. He commanded a training platoon, company and battalion in military unit No. 3419. In 1992, he graduated from the MV Frunze Military Academy. Upon its completion, he was sent to the special unit of the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs "Vityaz" as deputy commander. In May-July 1993, as part of his unit, he carried out tasks to block the Ossetian-Ingush border. On October 3, 1993, during the October events in Moscow , he took part in clashes on the territory of the Ostankino television center. In April 1994, he was appointed commander of the detachment, replacing Colonel Sergei Lysyuk in this position, and served as commander until July 1996. He took a direct part in the hostilities in almost all the hot spots of the country, made several business trips to the first Chechen war . Then the “Knights” inflicted heavy losses on the enemy near Khasavyurt, Ischerskaya, Alpatov.

In January 1996, he led a large group of Vityaz’s personnel, which was transferred to the area of ​​the village of Pervomaiskoye , where the gang of S. Raduev was blocked after an unsuccessful gang raid on the city of Kizlyar . Several assault groups broke into the village, one of which was personally led by the commander. The enemy’s military guard was destroyed, several dozen hostages from civilians were rescued and withdrawn from the village. The command was provided with intelligence on the size and defense of the enemy, the bandits suffered significant losses in manpower.

By decree of the President of the Russian Federation No. 689 of May 12, 1996, for the courage and heroism shown during the performance of a special task, Colonel Nikishin Alexander Nikolayevich was awarded the title Hero of the Russian Federation with the Golden Star medal.

In July 1996 he was transferred to the service in the Department of Emergency Situations of the Main Command of the Internal Troops.

Currently retired to the rank of colonel. In civilian life he is engaged in entrepreneurial activity. A. N. Nikishin is an active participant in public veteran organizations of former military personnel, including the Association of Veterans of Special Forces "Rus".

He was awarded the Order of Courage, "For Personal Courage", and medals.
