Club career
Paredes was born on July 8, 1987 in the city of Esmeraldas . The pupil of the football school club " Deportivo Cuenca ".
In adult football, he made his debut in 2006 with performances for the club Barcelona (Guayaquil) , in which he spent one season, taking part only in 5 league matches. During 2007–2008, he played for the second division club Rocafuerte, in which he scored quite a lot for the defender, having an average performance of 0.38 goals per game. During 2009-2010, defended the colors of the Deportivo Cuenca team.
In 2010, he signed a contract with the club Deportivo Quito , in which he spent the next three years of his career. Playing in the “Deportivo Quito”, also entered the field in the first team.
He joined the club Barcelona (Guayaquil) in 2013. June 6, 2014, it was confirmed that Paredes will start the new season for the English club “ Watford ” [2] .
International Career
In 2010 he made his debut in official matches in the national team of Ecuador . For the home team of the country spent 38 matches
September 10, 2010 in a friendly match against Mexico, Paredes made his debut for the national team of Ecuador.
