The prize named after V. O. Klyuchevsky is an award of the Russian Academy of Sciences , awarded since 1994 "for a great contribution to the field of Russian history and Slavic studies " [1] . Initially awarded once every three years, since 2000 - alternately once every two years and once every four years. Named in honor of the outstanding Russian historian Vasily Osipovich Klyuchevsky .
